In Baden, the name finally says it all again: In November 2021, the new Baden thermal spa FORTYSEVEN opened in the Bäderquartier. We were allowed to accompany the wellness spa from the name announcement in summer 2020 to the grand opening in late fall 2021. Media relations and also support some Events and Photo and video production implement. Because when history is being written in our favorite city, we have to be there!

Event concept for the unveiling of the name

In summer 2020, the owners announced the name of the new spa: FORTYSEVEN - Wellness-Therme Baden. In addition, they provided further information on the offer and branding of the new Baden thermal spa and showed what the CI/CD will look like. In order to give this important milestone sufficient weight, we designed an exciting Media event at the Baden Historical Museum. We unveiled the new name and logo to great media effect. The exhibition "Badekult. From Spa to Lifestyle" exhibition at the Historical Museum provided the perfect setting for the media conference. In addition to a welcome message from Cantonal Councillor Jean-Pierre Gallati, the program also included the presentation of the latest visualizations of the thermal baths by Swiss star architect Mario Botta and an exciting panel discussion with informative small talks. We took over all Event measures and also provided a Photo and video production up. After all, we didn't want to unveil the new name with the help of a dusty screen, but embedded in a gripping video trailer. And: the interest was great. From Tele M1 and Radio Argovia to the Aargauer Zeitung, all regional and national media as well as special interest media were on site.

Guerrilla campaign: Relaxed bathing on global wellness day

To ensure the success and acceptance of the new FORTYSEVEN wellness spa among the people of Baden, it was important to make it tangible and to seek direct contact with the residents. And this is best achieved with a surprising Guerrilla action in the middle of the city center. For Global Wellness Day on 12 June 2021, we organized street yoga and lessons with mindfulness exercises, led by instructors from Baden. Such lessons will also be part of the offering at the new wellness spa, which focuses on holistic well-being. In addition to the Event conception and event support, we also celebrated the day with a Photo and video production and we used the pictures and video clips right away for the Media relations and supplied countless regional and national media with exciting wellness content.

Event conception and media work for the grand opening

We have been working towards the opening of the FORTYSEVEN wellness spa for over a year. Countless media reports and interviews, as well as video and photo productions, have been produced as part of our Media relations in time. It was exciting and intensive work that culminated in the media event on November 18, 2021, where we were also responsible for the event concept, among other things: Around 50 journalists from regional and national TV, Radio, print and Online Editors could hardly wait to take a first look at the impressive building designed by star architect Mario Botta. The result: a proud media value of over 1.6 million francs and a satisfied customer. A milestone for the history of the spa town of Baden - and for us.
