Denver is hip, green, steeped in history and popular - and one of the trendiest cities in America. It's no wonder that many Swiss people also spend their vacations in the "Mile High City". With our long-standing customer Edelweiss you can even fly non-stop across the pond. To further increase awareness of Denver as a vacation destination in Switzerland, we have worked with our customers to Denver International Airport and the Colorado Tourism Office has already realized more than one PR stunt.

Denver "Beer Yoga Session" at Zurich Main Station

In February 2019, we planned a "Zurich Summer Activation" together with Denver International Airport and the Colorado Tourism Office. As Denver is known for its wide variety of breweries and sporting activities, such as yoga, we created a creative PR stunt that perfectly combined these two things: the largest "Beer Yoga Session" in Switzerland to date, right in Zurich's main train station. The unique nature of our idea caused a national sensation. To further promote the somewhat different yoga session, we used a witty promotion on Radio Energy to encourage people to take part. We also placed notices and preliminary reports in national and regional media. As a result, several hundred people took part in our Beer Yoga sessions. We also reached several thousand via huge LED screens and with a flyer campaign at Zurich main station. At the event itself, we produced exciting Video and image contentwhich we subsequently played to the media. Of course, we also published the unique content on social media. With the help of national reporting, we increased awareness of the unique vacation destination. In this way, we increased the interest of the Swiss population in visiting the "Mile High City" themselves.

Freedom Space at Zurich main station

Following the success of the "Beer Yoga Session" at Zurich Main Station, we also held a one-off event in March 2020. PR event for the Travel destination Denver and the airport Denver International Airport up. To bring the Swiss closer to this attractive US destination, we simply brought Denver's most exciting attractions to Zurich Main Station. With the help of our "storytelling" strength, we created a "Freedom Space" in the station concourse. The playground of activities was based on the history and highlights of Denver. A real gold digger's treasure hunt, an eight-meter-high climbing tower and an artistic oasis awaited visitors. The whole event was accompanied by performances by the famous drag queens Gossipa and Jeff van Phil. We also relied on celebrity support for the gold treasure hunt: our VIP cowboy and ex-Mister Switzerland Tobias Rentsch helped the participants to find the gold. In the run-up to the event, Tobias Rentsch also used a witty radio promotion to encourage participation. On site we produced exciting Video and photo contentwhich we subsequently played to the media and published on social media.
