In addition, the "General Notes" attached to the respective event programs, which are included in the seminar catalog, apply.

2. registration/registration confirmation

Participants can register via the Internet, letter, telephone or e-mail. Receipt of the registration will be confirmed by e-mail. However, this confirmation of receipt does not yet lead to the conclusion of the seminar contract and to a binding registration. Only when the organizer has checked the registration and confirmed by e-mail that the participant's registration is binding does the seminar contract between the participant and the organizer come into effect. The seminar contract is subject to the condition subsequent that the minimum number of participants specified in the seminar catalog is reached.

The participant will be informed accordingly no later than 7 working days before the date of the event. The participant should only book his/her travel and accommodation after receiving this confirmation.

3. cancelations

Cancellation of participation in an event by the participant is possible for a processing fee of CHF 50.00 up to six weeks before the start of the respective event via the Internet, letter, telephone or e-mail. If it is not possible to hold the event due to force majeure or for other organizational or economic reasons (e.g. due to illness of the speaker without a replacement speaker being available), the organizer is entitled to cancel the event. The participants will be informed immediately. In this case, the event fee will be refunded. Any further claims, in particular compensation for travel and accommodation costs and loss of working hours, are excluded. Liability in accordance with clause 8 remains unaffected by this.

5. changes to the course of the event

The organizer reserves the right to replace announced speakers with others and to change the schedule of the events or to replace, rearrange or cancel individual lectures of an event, provided that this does not affect the overall character of the event.

6. rejection of an application

Ferris Bühler Communications GmbH may reject a registration for an event without giving reasons.

If the participant defaults on payment, the organizer is entitled to charge interest on arrears at a rate of 5% above the statutory prime rate per annum. If the participation fee has not been received by the organizer by the start of the event, the organizer has the right to deny the participant participation in the event.

The participant may only offset against legally established or undisputed claims.

8. copyrights

The event documents are protected by copyright. The organizer shall provide the customer with the event documents only for the intended use.

Modification of the event documents and the use of modified versions, making them publicly accessible, in particular on the Internet or in other networks, as well as their use in internal databases are not permitted. In the event of a breach of material obligations arising from the contractual relationship, the organizer's liability shall be limited to the amount of foreseeable damage typical of the contract; the organizer shall not be liable for breaches of non-essential obligations arising from the contractual relationship or for slight negligence in other respects.

10.2 The aforementioned limitations of liability shall not apply in cases of mandatory statutory liability (in particular under the German Product Liability Act) or in the event of culpably caused physical injury.
