This year we have turned FBC on its head: from our claim to a new website and social media platforms to the management. With "First. Beyond. Creative." we show that communication according to the FBC method is unique and that we go the extra mile to support our customers in the best possible way and for the long term. Find out what we have achieved in 2023 in our 23 highlights.

1. a fresh look for FBC

This year we have really gone the extra mile and added a new website a new look for our website. Of course, we couldn't miss out on a team photo shoot and our team members now shine on their own magazine cover. And if you've ever wondered what we do all day at FBC, you can now take a look behind the scenes. In our image video we show what our 360° storytelling agency can do. 2nd Hollywood feeling in Zurich

People on fire, explosions and a world-famous film star: as part of the World of Film in Zurich's Sihlcity we were able to organize two events with lots of action. As the first highlight, we brought the charismatic actor Moritz Bleibtreu to Zurich for a live talk and autograph session. And that's not all: to bring visitors to a real film set, we organized a spectacular stunt show with the Marcel Stucki team. And action!

3. for more diversity and inclusion in Switzerland

As a partner of Swiss Diversity we have been committed to a more diverse and inclusive Switzerland since the very beginning. That's why we were also present at this year's Award Night, where we were able to welcome various media. Under this year's theme of "Age discrimination" SRF Faces & Stories reported exclusively on the stage artists Walter Andreas Müller and Birgit Steinegger, who were honored with the Allianz Lifetime Award.

4th action in the mountain village of Brigels

When the world's most famous agent is brought back to life and can be seen in the pool of the LA VAL Hotel & Spa alongside a pretty lady, FBC produces a Hollywood-worthy TV commercial with Daniel Craig lookalike Martin Langanke. The commercial ran on the SRF channels and was so well received even beyond national borders that we were nominated for the German Brand Award 2024. Media such as Horizonthe Zürcher Tagblatt and personally have celebrated the spot.

5. first live podcast at WEGA

Since 2021, we have been producing the podcast for our client Lidl Switzerland together with Anita Buri Schnurri with Buri in our in-house podcast studio. We produced a live podcast for the first time at the WEGA family fair in Thurgau. Our guest was Unspunnen winner Samuel Giger, who revealed exciting details about his preparations for the season. 6. there is always something to celebrate

From our legendary PRimeTime office party to our team trip to Europe's largest waterfall and the annual dance party on the beer benches at Baden's Oktoberfest - we never miss an opportunity to celebrate our team spirit. 7. sleeping in meetings, at the dining table and on the golf course

We have our finger on the pulse of trends and when SRG launched the influencer TV spot as a new format, we saw the opportunity to elsa Switzerland with a spot based on user-generated content. For our client's fall campaign, we produced a TV spot and target group-oriented content for a social media campaign. During the video shoot, the protagonists were not only able to sleep in a bed, but also on the golf course, in a meeting and at the dining table. Curious? Here is our TV spot:

8. once around the world with Edelweiss

True to the motto "leave grey, love blue", we traveled with our favourite airline Edelweiss and numerous travel journalists and produced a lot of image and video content on location. From the picturesque landscapes of the Basque Country to the mystical Azores to the breathtaking fjords of of Norway and the wild nature of Iceland - our travels have spanned continents and cultures. Not forgetting the vibrant cities of Bogotá and Cartagena in Colombia, which Edelweiss has been flying to since mid-November 2023. Let our videos inspire you when planning your vacation.

9. observe global warming live

Observe glacier retreat online: With Glaciers.Today this is now possible. With his camera installation on the Diavolezza, fine art photographer Jürg Kaufmann is drawing attention to climate change. We were able to secure numerous media reports for this exciting project in high-reach media in Switzerland (20 minutes, Nau and Horizont) and abroad (Deutschlandfunk, FAZ and ZDF). The Glacier Clean Up Day also took place again this year on the Diavolezza. On this special day, numerous volunteers cleared the glacier of garbage. We also made this happening a topic in numerous media.

10. swap soccer jersey for bathrobe

In addition to physical performance, the mental health of players is extremely important for good performance on the football pitch. As part of the "Flow Training Day", the professional footballers from FC Aarau completed a training session at our customer, the wellness spa FORTYSEVENa very special training session. We accompanied the event with a video production and then broadcast the video of the special training session on TeleM1 afterwards.

11th Michelin star for new restaurant concept

Settle the bill before you go to the restaurant? Enjoy fine dining in the cellar? Try a new seasonal menu every three months? The newly opened restaurant elmira promises an incomparable dining experience. Not just us, but also media such as 20 minutes, Marmite, Tages-Anzeiger and FACES are delighted. We have been in charge of elmira's media relations since the opening. We were all the more delighted when the elmira was awarded the well-deserved Michelin star and, on top of that, the green star for sustainable gastronomy.

12. triple female power for FBC

In addition to our digital presence, we have also expanded the agency's strategic management. This year Christine Bohn as Director Operations and Ingvild Bottheim as Director Business Development to Larissa LaudadioDirector Strategy & Content Production. 13th FBC goes YouTube

This year, we stepped out of our comfort zone and went in front of the camera for once: with our new YouTube formats, we share our knowledge of storytelling, PR and marketing in an entertaining way. In the short videos, we answer questions about performance marketingshow practical PR hacks and talk about current trends in the communications industry. 

14. through Zurich in a bathrobe

Surprised looks and big question marks: passers-by in Zurich were amazed in June when 47 people in green bathrobes and flip-flops took a leisurely stroll through the city - past Sechseläutenplatz and Bahnhofstrasse in the direction of the main railway station. Media such as Nau reported on the event and our PR stunt for our client, the FORTYSEVEN wellness spa, caused quite a stir on the occasion of Global Wellness Day.

15th GCSP Brand Storytelling

For our new international client, the Geneva Center for Security Policywe traveled to Geneva this year for a workshop. With the exciting findings from several interviews and analyses, we created a comprehensive positioning and communication concept. It was a great honor to support GCSP's inspiring initiatives to promote peace, security and cooperation.

16. behind the scenes at Edelweiss

We regularly travel above the clouds and to foreign countries for and with Edelweiss. But for once we stayed on the ground and accompanied the "Edelweiss Food Experience" event with our video camera. 20 Edelweiss passengers were allowed to take a look behind the scenes of First Catering and try the airline's new Business Class food. You can see how much manual work goes into the in-flight food here:

17th Born in California, barbecued in Schaffhausen

When we were asked in early summer whether we could take on the media work for the expansion of the oldest burger chain in the world, Carl's Jr. And so we contacted our client, the Spycher Burger Gang AGeven before the official opening of the first Swiss branch with numerous reports in high-reach media such as 20 Minuten, watson and Blick placed. Attention burger fans: From December 12, 2023, the juicy burgers and homemade milkshakes will be available at Schaffhausen station.

18. regional products at the touch of a button

Our customer Dallmayr launched at the beginning of the year under the label Enjoy Local a unique vending machine concept. The new vending machines are not stocked with products from major international brands, but with regional delicacies from Swiss producers. For the launch, we organized a panel discussion with various experts for the launch, where we welcomed various media and interested visitors.

19. new collaboration: Digi-Telling Workshop

How important is digitalization for my company's marketing mix? What is storytelling and how can I tell my story on different channels? These questions inspired us to create a special collaboration. Together with Digital go we are now offering a Digi-Telling Workshop on offer. In the workshop, you will work with two experts to develop a strategy for generating creative ideas and implementing them digitally.

20. even more football know-how for blue Sport

The former professional footballer and experienced TV pundit Didi Hamann not only knows a lot about football, he also likes to polarize with his controversial statements. Since this year, he has been a UEFA Champions League expert for our client blue Sport for our client blue Sport. A new, exciting face that we immediately integrated into our media work. We conducted interesting interviews with Didi and the NZZ, Tages-Anzeiger, Blick, Nau and Watson on.

21. a look into the future at the Hertz Summit

The mobility of the future is an omnipresent topic. This was also the case at the "Hertz Summit 2023" last September, where leading industry representatives, experts, researchers and enthusiasts discussed the latest developments, trends and visions of mobility. Ferris Bühler was there live and moderated the exciting event.

22. strong partners with strong opportunities

Thanks to synergies, we can offer our customers even more services. This year, we have also been busy forging partnerships and bringing top partners on board: Sweetspot, Admeira, Livesystems, sportsemotion, online marketing, Capture Media, Videogram, Refleunced and Digital go. Cheers to exciting collaborations and many new projects!

23rd Proud to serve for traser

And last but not least: ambulances, fire engines and sirens. What may sound like a crime scene or an accident was the set of the new campaign videos for the Bernese watch manufacturer traser. Together with the Baden fire station, we produced various video snippets for social media ads for traser's "Proud to serve" campaign. Here is a little sneak peek:
