Since 2021, we have been supporting a very special destination in the Media relationsZurich. Even though the home of our storytelling agency is Baden, the hearts of many FBC ladies also beat for Zurich, where they live. And rightly so: the city on the Limmat has many faces - and even more exciting stories - to offer. Plenty of potential for our storytelling and exciting Guerrilla actions for Zurich Tourism.
Zurich Weeks" guerrilla campaign
Under the title "Zurich Weeks", the Zurich Tourism In summer 2021, 75 Zurich hotels are offering a unique summer package for short breaks. To promote the offer and at the same time draw attention to the plight of Zurich's hotel industry during the coronavirus pandemic, around 70 hotel representatives dived into Lake Zurich at the Zurich Arboretum in June 2021.
We were able to support this unique campaign with PR measures: We invited Keystone and the RSI exclusively on site and sent out pictures and video recordings of the action, which were View, CH media and many other news portals.
And our media work stopped at the Guerrilla actionwith the hoteliers. Historic old town, vibrant, young city districts and a summery beach feeling - Zurich has a lot to offer as a vacation destination, and we were able to prove this by organizing individual trips for media professionals from German-speaking Switzerland, French-speaking Switzerland, Ticino and even Vorarlberg.
Hotel Noël: A decentralized Christmas hotel
To coincide with the switch-on of Zurich's "Lucy" Christmas lights, the unique "Hotel Noël". Ten Swiss artists transformed ten hotel rooms in ten different Zurich hotels into inspiring works of art. From a seventies look to video projections and geometric lines to a winter wonderland: the rooms provided an unforgettable art experience for all tastes. After its successful premiere in winter 2021, the pop-up hotel returned in winter 2022 with new artists and fresh ideas under the motto "The Christmas Paradox".
We accompanied the entire communication around the Hotel Noël both in December 2021 and the following year and were able to place individual media stories with the artists as well as about the hotel rooms in the run-up to the vernissage. Renowned media such as the Sunday newspaperwhich NZZ, 20 minutes (incl. the French-speaking Switzerland) reported.
