Since the beginning of 2019, we have been Engadin St. Moritz Mountains AG as a storytelling and content agency. We constantly supply the media with all the important information about the winter and summer season. With Guerrilla Marketing and Events we selectively ensure additional media attention for the diverse offerings in the Upper Engadine

Guerrilla marketing on two wheels: On the slopes with Wendy Holdener

In order to position Corviglia more prominently as a bike hotspot in summer and highlight the extensive mountain bike offer, we relied on our greatest strength: storytelling. We came up with a celebrity story that would definitely attract media interest: "On the slopes with Wendy Holdener" was born. We hired Swiss ski racer Wendy Holdener, who had already won gold in the Alpine Combined World Championships on Corviglia in 2017. She swapped her skis for a bike for us and tested the trails on the summery Corviglia together with her partner Nico Caprez. Our PR measure paid off: both SRF and Schweizer Illustrierte published the story - in Schweizer Illustrierte, we brought our customers a new perspective with this story. Exclusive story even on the front page.

Launch of the WINTEROLYMP AR app

Digital experiences are playing an increasingly important role in the tourism industry. In times of digitalization, it is important to keep up with the times and create interactive activities for visitors. The Engadin St. Moritz Mountains launched an augmented reality app called WINTEROLYMP in September 2019. With the interactive app, the region took on a pioneering role in terms of digital experiences in tourism. We accompanied the launch event on St. Moritz's local mountain, Corviglia, with PR and Event measures. Regional and national media reported on the new AR app, which allows visitors to interact digitally with the past of the only Swiss host of the Winter Olympics.
With the WINTEROLYMP AR app, visitors can interact with the history of the mountain.

Guerrilla Marketing 2.0: From professional to professional

After the successful biking story in 2019 with Wendy Holdener, we are focusing on a similar story element in 2020. Because sometimes all it takes is a few small tweaks to create a new, exciting set-up for the media. To generate renewed attention for the Engadin St. Moritz Mountains' biking trails, we teamed up ski star Wendy Holdener with a true mountain bike pro: Jolanda Neff, Swiss champion 2020. Together, the two golden girls ensured a high VIP factor. The SRF Sportpanorama was enthusiastic about the idea of accompanying the two top athletes on a mountain bike tour. In addition to SRF, we were of course also busy producing Photo content on site, which we subsequently sent to the media. The story also appeared in regional media such as the Engadine Postsports media such as Sport.ch and national media such as Schweizer Illustrierte. Wendy and Jolanda also clearly enjoyed our story and enjoyed the biking day and getting to know each other for the first time, which was clearly visible on their social media channels.
